Bath time for Adelida

No truck, no problem…John Deere to the rescue! After a full day of bathing she looks like a different Airstream. We will still have to strip, polish and re put a new sealer on her.

Just the wash did wonders, made me that much more excited about the possibilities. We used simple green cleaner and a house mildew remover. We got a happy surprise, we found that aside from some mildew the canopies are in great shape. I will need to replace a bracket on one of the arms but the canvas for both are good. Thats one less thing we will need to replace. Yay us!!!  Tomorrow I will be cleaning all the junk out of her and wiping down a little inside. I will also start removing the belly skin so I can level her on blocks to start work inside. Here are some before, after, and during her bath.

Here is dear hubby getting serious with the pressure washer….

I noticed all the bubbling in the tint on the windows, in between the panes. I will have to pull all the windows and fix that.

Then I saw this…….

I guess even Adelida was surprised at the difference…lol.
